Does that mean that the more selfish a person is, the less they will be capable of loving? 
To some extent, yes. When I look at the examples of love in my life, and how that love is given, it seems apparent that it's lacking in selfishness. Do you disagree? Feel free to share your thoughts.

Hmm... but perhaps they are only selfish as long as they don't feel they have anyone to share with..
