I kinda like the idea that Discord was cocky enough to egg her into going back to Ponyville in the Reharmonized Timeline, where in the Discorded Timeline, he was slower to the punch, so Twilight folded on her own.
Kinda want to see a story now where somepony who was kind of a dick normally, maybe Gilda, gets discorded and pulls a Ghost Rider on Discord, being more competent in discorded mode then normally so, and also mad as hell at him. Think it works in the FiM-verse?

Hmm, interesting take on it. My "Fading Futures" fanfic gives a take on the point where they diverged, but it's up to you if you consider it canon.

Regarding Celestia? Kinda disappointed that no one made a reference to bitches who like bananas, but you can't have everything. Seems like Celestia would have at least dragged it out a little more, but Discord did go for the kill, and he knows her just as well as she knows him, so I guess it evens out.

Yeah, after thinking about it I'd agree with that. I'm not so sure I agree that the difference is her realizing Discord cheated though. In the show (and presumably Reharmonized) she mostly seemed concerned about his removing the maze, which hadn't happened yet at that point. Plus she didn't seem to have a much better grasp of exactly what had happened to her friends than Epilogue Timeline Twilight did. I think there may have been some other factor which caused her not to lose hope quite so easily.
True. I'm writing a fanfic that explains it a bit, involving time travel in a way... Sort of.
