Oh, I have no problem with people who have different styles of dress. Just those people who clearly have no idea what style means, such as a woman who wears a skirt that leaves almost nothing to the imagination or a guy who wears one of those bum bag things strapped to his chest...can't stand that... :-p

Well, you just called me "shallow, narrow minded and petty", but we'll get to that in a moment.

I know for a fact that I am not Dr Style. I know some of the conventions regarding colour co-ordination, how to wear a tie, how pants should fit etc, but I am not Anna Wintour. This being said, I have been requested by my friends to go shopping with them on more than one occasion to help them find new clothes as I have a good idea as to what clothes/colour suit them.

I am well aware that many stylists get their inspiration from "common" people, I believe the recent trend towards hipster clothing is a prime example.

I won’t deny that I can’t stand the way some people dress, though this is mainly when I see them wearing track pants, the infamous sandals and socks combination and jeggings that have floral prints. In my original comment, I also gave two examples: the women who wear dresses that show the curve of their bottom (and may well display any underwear they are wearing) and men who insist on wearing bum bags around their chest. The reason for my judgement is because the clothes they are wearing, as far as I can tell, do nothing to flatter them or express who they are, not because I dislike the clothes.

I would also appreciate it if your comments were a rebuttal to my comment, rather than insulting me personally, as it is both rude and does nothing to add to your argument. You do not the faintest idea who I am, so grouping me together with “shallow, narrow minded and petty people” is beyond laughable, it is ridiculous. I also disagree that the world will become a better place when people stop picking on harmless people. I believe it will become a better place when people talk with one another with an open mind a goal of improving the world, which will result in people no longer picking on harmless people.

(The reason I've had to to put this as a reply to my comment is because I believe I have been blocked by HelloTerrestrials from responding to his/her comment)

:iconfacepalmextremeplz: You said: "Oh, I have no problem with people who have different styles of dress. Just those people who clearly have no idea what style means"

You're basically saying that you have no problem with people having different styles since they please you. Because let's face it, no one has the right to tell others what to wear and what style really is is something subjetive, don't think you are Dr Style because you are not. Did you know some stylists get inspiration from "commom" people they see in the streets?

You can't stand the way certain people dress? Well, deal with it, it's up to them to decide what to wear not to you. And seriously, "If people did this, then the world would be a far better place."? Please, grow up and wake up because the world is going to be a better place when shallow, narrow minded and petty people like you start facing themselves instead of running away of their problems by picking harmeless people that are only living their lives in peace.
