They knew each other personally for some years ago. They used to be in the same school together (And from what I remember, the schools their are like middle school and high school combined)
I met both of them via dA, but I had a much closer connection to "Kas". We both talked to each daily on MSN and Skype, and Kas actually praised Rai's art for how good she was for her age.
Unfortunately, even though I've never met Rai face-to-face, we've had some ugly arguments that led us to being bitter, and Kas actually acted as a middle-ground for us for us to "get along" somewhat.
When Kas got her dA account, she told me that she previously tried to get Rai to drop the whole Aisha thing, not because she was some obsessed fan, but because she too was growing tired of Rai escalating it. And the reason being was that according to Kas, Rai had the tendency to drag her into her own internet drama.
So as a result, Rai hacked Kas's account and deactivated it. Later when Kas tried to reactivate again, Rai hacked and deactivated it again as well.
That's when the Skype cap comes in, although at that time I just thought it was payback for Rai doing the same thing twice. I admit, it does sound kind of petty once you think about it, but I had no idea it had anything to do with white-knighting Aisha.
Rai was hacked too, but only after Kas got hacked.
As for that note, I have no clue. But your idea does sound plausible because for one thing Kas NEVER types in "txt talk" format. And Rai would've mention me in that note, because before she hacked into Kas's Skype account to read all of our private conversations.
Well apparently Kas did actually tell me she was planning on hacking Rai as a form of payback... If she actually went through with it, now I'm not sure... She never logged back into Skype to tell the tale, even BEFORE the day she supposedly got arrested.
There's a lot of possibilities now that I've gotten so skeptical over this whole situation.
She wouldn't, I know that. I'm actually more surprised that she acts as though Kas is some random stranger/bully who she never was acquainted with. But due to some previous events that took place, this behavior isn't that new to me.
I would say you have the right to believe it. Despite of what I know of the situation, I'm still somewhat on the fence. But I have the strong feeling that note was made by someone else other than Kas.

I know. As soon as I read the story, I felt something was off, so I automatically didn't believe the 13 year old's side of the story [Not because she's 13, but because I really just didn't believe her].
A lot of people felt something was off about the story of the hacking. But to be honest so many of us are on the fence about everything we aren't sure who to believe. So basically most of us are just blaming both sides.

Ha. Blaming both sides sounds strange. Wouldn't you prefer to be neutral if you are not going to pick a side? By neutral, I mean observing and not blaming either side.
pfft nope. I blame both sides, cause obviously both sides have done some shit for this to be such a idiotic and horrid situation. When i mean both sides I mean Rai and Aisha, the trolls and white knights, sure haven't helped but they weren't the ones that STARTED these problems, they just stirred the pot more.

If Rai hacked Kas would that mean that note that was sent, rai sent it to herself to make Kas look bad?

Wow. My pity for rai is just gone now, like I had any before, but wow.
