I thought you might like it. I think it's really cool and Kirin are awesome.. I should draw one sometime, they're so cool. My uncle used to have a mother and baby sculptures of kirin that I absolutely loved growing up and ever since I've been fond of them. I should fav it too! lol
But this picture reminds me of it because of the overhanging icicles they both have and the type of animal seems similar. (the ungulate that is, I know kirin are mythical and not exactly the same, just saying they look similar)

I've wanted to draw a kirin for the longest time xD Just haven't had a chance yet, there's too many things I've been wanting to draw haha.

I've always wanted to too! I have had no experience with it but I like doing every medium of art imaginable if at all possible. I like working with clay too, it feels so good to work with. The only thing I've really made though are small pots and this mask for a friend. [link]
Same here xD The only thing I've never tried is sewing and stuff like that hehe. I'm not too into that kind of art though, I'd rather work with digital/traditional like I have been doing, and then get into sculpting as well. I actually did a little wax sculpture I liked of my character, Volknyr. It was made out of the wax that is around those little cheese things. xD [link] Sorry for the bad photo quality though heh.

I am amazed by your craftsmanship, to think of what you made it out of is brilliant and creative! You never cease to amaze me my dear.
And thank you! ^_^ I haven't gotten feedback on him in a while. The kanji his nose is made out of means friend since I designed it for a friend of mine. I played with the idea of a few designs but I'm pleased with the one I chose.. so thank you I'm so glad you like the rising sun motif worked into there. ^_^
