The same day another comment! Well.. Critique! ^_^
Here are the strong points of your work:
Your work looks really cute! The way Lilly stands, how she's smiling at us... It's captivating!
Her costume design really fits her! Her cute face, her pink outfit. The darker pink comes back in her shoes, her dress and her hair! It gives Lilly the nicy-nice look! (As I call it
)
Especially the shading of Lilly's hair is beautiful, it looks like the way a pro does, but it still has your style: The soft shading gives it the look of a magicalARTcreator! ^_^
Her face is really cute, your style, very "kawaii", and it makes many people click the fav button! (I saw it!) And I do understand why they do click the button
But, every artwork has some points an artist could pay a bit more attention to:
At some spots, the lineart isn't where it should be, like the lower part of the shoes, you didn't erased some spots like these.
Maybe it's just something I think, but are you avoiding drawing hands, expecially the fingers? (You hided one hand, and the other hand is in a position no fingers are visible)
The arms and hands: This is a anatomy-trick: Upper-arm is as long as shoulder - (navel). And lower-arm and hand-palm are as long as upper-arm and shoulder ^^ And than the hands: They're more than 2/3 of the lower-arm ^^
Still, you can puzzle with such rules, but not too much
The background. You seem to avoid trying to draw a background with perspective. That makes the drawing much more convincing: Like when Lilly is singing in her room, of even in front of a whole bunch of fans. For that, perspective is needed. It makes a drawing a masterpiece! (Have a hard time drawing with perspective? You have many deviations that will help you out, just type: Perspective tutorial, and voila!
)
I hope this critique was quite usefull, we're looking forward to your next deviation submission at #
