It's accurate for the one you were drawing. But not accurate for the current one.
But I'm not drawing the current one. I'm drawing the 80's one. So there shouldn't be a problem. I'm not following how the fact that my G1 Applejack looks like G1 Applejack bothers you...? And I'm even more confused as to why you think it's okay to ask an artist to edit their artwork to suit you. 
I wasn't ask you to change it to suit me. So please ask something like that before jumping to conclusions. I did not know of the older serious so I did not know of this version. Thanks. I wasn't trying to start a fight.
You said "can you fix that???" to be like how you wanted it. I don't know how that's anything BUT asking me to change it to suit you. But okay. I wasn't looking for a fight either.
