I tried this way a lot of times and it didn't quite worked out for me. I'm more efficient if I design everything based on a solid story. I also think, people will notice if I put a lot of effort in the story

I pitched the stories in a synopsis version to some friends and the verdict always is that the concept for An Empire of Evil is a lot stronger. But I like Marine so I'm trying to make the story better so it actually is interesting. If it doesn't work I'll just go with the other option.
