These days I feel so blue
I'm not sure what to do
I just lie around the house
All I can do is grouse
And the skies are all gray
But then I think, “Hey!
“I know what would make this better!
“It isn’t a Irish Setter,
“Or a love letter…
“I’ve been so dumb!
“I needn’t succumb,
“The answer’s right here in my face!”
Then I reach out to embrace
The pineapple.
