I guess "a lot of messages" varies from person to person depending on how often they get them, if someone gets that many in a day they can't really be blamed for letting it get that far But for people who get less - that many messages are a sign of letting them go for too long. If there's one thing I'm obsessive about - it's dA, I make sure I check all new messages everyday, to avoid the problem of an overflowing inbox

I agree on the second part, there's no "looking back and wondering where the year went" it's all about looking forward. The earlier months of the year have always been my favourites
