I'm not an artist so I'm not sure how much weight you should give me words but let me offer my novice insights:

Amazing:
The model's dark hair is a brilliant change against the light rock, and the pose is wonderful. Her hands almost seem to be trying to pull in or absorb the "energy" blast the rock pattern denotes.

Other ideas: It would be easier to believe that the "energy" came from the model, or that she was absorbing it, if her right shoulder was raised and pushed upwords so that the line denoting the rock color shift was obscured.

Or, take a pose with each of her arms in the "bumps" of the color swirls and the left side picture ending before the color shift line on the left was seen, and it would almost appear the swirl was caused by her (I know this post would be very difficult to obtain and harder still to hold).

As I said, I'm knew, and not an artist, so give my words as much or as little weight as you feel they deserve. I'm not sure what you wanted to portray so I'm going off my own impressions here.
