I'll see if I can fix up that grass. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it until you mentioned the curviness. Thanks for the help, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Okay, now that is cool. It's great to see such original stuff, especially in the anthro gallery (which always seems so stagnant...).
Lovely interpretation of the fighter, it's very creative. I love the way you did the propeller - where it is and how it's drawn. The head in general is pretty sweet. The propeller looks very realistic and definitely like it's in motion. Good lighting, too. The shadows and highlights are pronounced without being tacky. I also like the composition, how there's nothing but sky behind the fighter.
The only nitpick I have is the grass in the foreground - while it's very good dramatically, it doesn't quite look right technically. Compared to the grass behind it, it seems rubbery, less stiff, and rounder.
Amazing work though! This is going into my faves, for sure.
That is incredible. I am absolutely in love with the concept of this piece.

"Another fantastic person is the famous GearOtter. Check her out on deviantart.com, her art sucks dirt, but she has a posse almost as great as my own, a bunch of friends who suck up to her and get her page views. Go geary."

This is so slick and beautiful. I love your attention to detail, both in the picture and the point about the wind. Let's see if I can get you a bit more exposure.

Ask not what you can do for art, but what art can do for you.
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
