You are right! When I press the left foot he does say that 
I remember seeing them in Toys R Us before I got mine and actually trying to tickle his foot to get him to say that. I didn't realize until I actually had one of my own that you have to press that foot to get him to do so. I also learned how to turn him on and off. When I was watching TV and found something funny, I would squeeze his toe and turn him off.
lol yeah I think he was in store with the floppy one and the one that purrs. I only got the one that purrs at the time.
You can turn him off?
Yes. On his back there is a place that is opened and closed via Velcro. When you open it up, you will see the box the batteries go in. On that box there is also a switch. That switch will turn him on or off.
Oh yeah I didn't even though about looking there XD
It is kinda small so I guess it would be easy to miss.
