I'd be very interested to see you do more figure studies because so much of the essence of your artistic character is carried in the spontaneous line markings, emoting volume and the quality of light. Not that these are at all lacking in your other work (quite the contrary) I just find this piece to put it into the context of the human form which responds innately to a plethora of issues. The combination of caricaturistic realism with hallucinatory musings makes for a very interesting and dynamic conversation of themes. Just a thought.....

Beautiful work, as always. I've been emulating you in my work for at least 2 years now, and I continue to do so. Its inspiring to watch the greats transition through the many phases of the artistic journey whilst going through similar changes yourself.

Interesting. I definitely enjoy doing these and intend to do more. For a long time I shied away from the human form but I'm really enjoying it lately. I appreciate the kind words and would love to see some of your newer stuff.
