of course it is life or death everything is life or death decisions like that lead to offshoot doomed timeline paradox clones you should know better 
Actually the theory of time paradox is false. True, the resulting clash of two atoms exactly alike MAY cause a collapse in the universe, but it can also form the formation of a new universe from this flaw in time. This principle derives from the physics theory of immortality where, per say, you have a gun with a barrel and the barrel can either go left and not fire or right and fire, the possibilities of how this ends can end up creating an infinite number of universes, some in which you die and some in which you don't die.
Not true unless these offshoot universes grant immortality you will eventually die in all of them.... albeit there may be an endless that grant immortality seeing as the possibilities are endless but it also means there are plenty of dead offshoot paradox clones....
