I have to use C4D more, I've just been enamored at the new features of Blender, including, no less...Cycles 
To be fair, I haven't tried Blender since they made all the major interface changes. Going back to school, we're using Maya and I love it. But I've been forcing myself to model in C4D because I already own it and may never be able to afford Maya's $3500 price tag lol

Maya just isn't worth that in my opinion, I'll stick with C4D and Blender Although the new pricing structure the have for C4D its right up their in price with Maya. I have 11.5 and since I bought a couple of add on modules it would cost me $2500 to upgrade and retain the same functionality I have now. 
Perhaps I shall take another look at Blender once the semester is over. I bought Zbrush as christmas present to myself, still trying to learn but that's an awesome app
