Red tail hawks are awesome! We had a family of them that would nest near our house several summers in a row. Unfortunately, I wasn't doing photography then.
I've had some land pretty close to me when I was riding my bike in my neighborhood before. They're amazing. We get lots of turkey vultures, too. They seem to like to fly dangerously close to cars. xD We never hit them though.
