Yeah but generally prisoners are worth 100-150 each. They're just too much hassle and not enough gain. It's better money to just hunt Sea Raiders.
what are you talking about i keep gettings ones that are 3-400 each. you have to get the higher teired ones. bandits are also worth more than most 1's and 2's so don't bother with low ranks
When I start fighting the highest tier units, I usually already have high tier units myself, and few of those have blunt weapons so I get very little prisoners at that point.
True, I don't go out of my way to get prisoners, especcially since wounded men have a chance of comming back to haunt you, but a dozen prisoners at 150 points a piece it's worth it.
That's why I usually recruit whatever Manhunters I rescue and send them on suicide charge against the said Sea Raiders. Don't have to bother about paying them, they get me prisoners and reduce chances I will suffer casualties.
Sometime this game makes me feel like an evil bastard.
I keep manhunters around, good cavalry.
