I'm sorry, but Derpy represented a lot. I have a club foot and have felt sorry about it my whole life. Every character on TV was either perfect or completely "handy capable" in their wheelchair or cast. I do try, but sometimes I mess up because I walk funny. Derpy showed the "try try again" attitude disabled people need. Rainbow Dash showed people's impatience; something that is completely under the sweeped rug by most "I love you, you love me" children shows. The people that rallied for Derpy and made her a speaking character made me happy and excepted. I don't blame Yamino completely, but I strongly disagree with her and hold her accountable for her actions.
She should've stayed in the background where she belongs
try try again is a more than important message to handicapped people no matter if its physical or mental. Good for you Kunstlerromanable
