Skeptics my ass. Those are philosophers. Skeptics barely discuss about it. Of course in public you can't say anything else than "there's no proof of one thing or another" instead of "religion doesn't concern science, the foolish ideas aren't suppositions brought up by signs that require investigation, they're ridiculous fantasies which have the obvious purpose of scare ignorant people of authority", which is more honest.

I also see why, very clearly. Because atheism hasn't absolutely stopped being hated to death by fanatics. If you've never heard thye worst nauseatingly hateful rants against atheism, you're lucky.

And  instead instead of saying "I see why these are the facts", you could argument something.
