story: joykit sat there watching her brother die from a rat bite on his throat. berrykit wailed in the medicine cats den, eyes trying to stay open, ''he's fighting for life!'' joykit wheezed. larchhoney, the medicine cat, mewed, ''he has no chance... if he was a apprentice or warrior, he would, but...'' ''no!'' icekit yowled and laid near her brothers' side. rowanberry hung herself over the twitching body of her eldest son, ''starclan must recive you in honer..'' berrykit rasped, ''see.... you.... in.... starclan.... you... guys....'' he shuddered and fell limp. ''no!'' wailed joykit, ''berrykit!'' yowled smokekit, ''please wake up!'' wheezed icekit. many seasons later, joykit became leader.... joyleap was on her last life, still no sign of berrykit, untill she saw the small tom run over and press his muzzle to her forehead, ''with this life...'' he murmured, ''i give you faith.. use it well to never give up in battles and other cats death.'' be backed away and all whent quiet.
death story: joystar, two more lives left remembered her brother's words: ''i give you faith... use it well to to never give up on battles and other cats death'' she froze when she saw a group of soulclan cats: blackstar a black she-cat with red eyes, coppereyes a brown tom with a darker face and copper eyes the deputy, jetblack a jet black she-cat with blue eyes. she yowled, ''what are you doing on our territory?'' blackstar growled calmly, ''you mean, what are you doing on OUR territory?'' ''it's echoclan territory, foxheart!'' he srung at him, kicking his chest with powerful hind legs, knocking the breath out of blackstar. blackstar snarled and bit into her throat, dragging her to the ground, coppereyes sunk his claws into her temple, making yowl in agony. jetblack bit her tail and bit down hard. she when limp, she woke up again and scratched coppereye's eye, making him rear up and fall. joystar kicked jetblack with usheathed hind claws and drove him back, she flipped over, pinning blackstar to the throat, ''mousebrain!'' she spat and slashed her claws across his throat, making him wheeze and fall limp. coppereyes leapt at her and bit her scruff, pushing the the ground, she kicked her hind legs kicking blindly, hitting his underbelly and flung him off. jetblack sunk his claws unto her underbelly and she fell limp, waking up to a starry place and berrykit infront of her, ''welcome to starclan, sister! wow, you're verry succsesful!'' joystar stood up, ''but, what about my clan?!'' ''bumblestripe was watching, he is at you're body now, he will now be bumblestar.. and you can give him a life!''
after story: bumbleclaw stood infront of joystar in disbelife, she pressed her muzzle to his head, ''with you're last life, i give you a mothers' love, use it well to care for others and our kits'' bumbleclaw's ears dropped, ''and now, you shall be the new leader of echoclan, bumblestar!'' she yowled in happyness, ''and, i will came to you everynight to say goodnight.'' she whispered and he left.
