Yeah, I know, it's a phase I guess. I may return to making some ambigrams when the fancy strikes. Sorry for flooding your DeviantWatch with ponies though. They're just such a rewarding subject for all sorts of art experiments.

I was furious when Adobe swallowed Macromedia and killed Free Hand, my favorite vector graphics program. I wish to learn Inkscape so I don't have to use Illustrator.

Good luck with getting used to Inkscape. I mostly learned it on my own, but there are probably some decent tutorials on the web. It's a pretty powerful editor, and one of the best open source alternatives. It has its quirks though. And occasional stability issues—save often if you don't want to lose hours of work.
