This is so true. It seems like now that I'm out of school all the things that were completely and horrendously boring are actually now very interesting to me, now that I can seek them out when I desire and not have to sit in an hour long class being drilled on the same material for the eleventh time. I think the school system just tries to cram too much into a school day to the point that they rush through everything and don't give the students enough time to get interested, or even TRY to get them interested. Every now and then, I would wind up with some amazing teachers, and I remember actually having fun and learning in those classes with them. ^^
