It made sense to me! Spitfire was going to go kill the green pony (not sure who it was) so that they could become god tier, and Celestia was fighting Nightmare Moon, and while all of this is happening, meteors are coming down, then the green pony becomes a something of space and teleports to where Celestia and Nightmare Moon are fighting, and teleports Nightmare Moon to an asteroid where other ponies are (referencing the trolls) and starts killing them.

IT MAKES SENSE!
