Amazing work; the skin-tones are outstanding. Wonderfully engaging compositional also.

There is a wonderful sense of depth here that a lot of other traditional painters cannot accomplish. I think the hair was especially well done, considering that it's sort of a tertiary item in the composition. I focus on the hair because it has depth to it; it appears to be closer in the foreground than other elements, yet we instinctively look past it towards the figure's eyes.

What is also well-done is the impression of the glass on her bottom lip. This is something many artists would overlook, but you've capture this image quite well.

Color-wise, it's very warm but is slightly offset by the tone of the olives, which adds some nice contrast that makes the image vibrate a bit more than it would otherwise.

The Public is more Familiar with Bad Design than Good Design. It is, in effect, conditioned to prefer Bad Design, because that is what it lives with. The new becomes Threatening, the Old Reassuring.
