I seriously doubt this is going to work.

... It would not be smart of Eggman to shrink Tails. For one, Tails flies. Really fast. For another, he could break out of the jar. And, finally, Tails can pull bombs out of nowhere to blow stuff up.

Well, all of Eggman's plans are flawed. And honestly, he probably just completely disregarded Tails. The last time Tails was a pain in Eggman's side without Sonic helping him was Sonic Adventure 2, and even the Doc's main focus was on stopping Sonic.

Not to mention, Tails hasn't even shown up yet, and currently knows nothing concerning Sonic's situation!

Yeah, they are kind of flawed... And they're even worse when he tries to work with another experienced villain, and their styles clash.

Yeah. And we all know what happens when Eggman tries to work with an evil deity... *coughcoughchaosdarkgaiacough*

Yeah. That's just because they betray him, though... Working with a villain who uses another style for his plots (Bowser) tends to lead to very, VERY stupid plans. Covering london in fog (granted, it was magic fog that could solidify into doppelgangers of the heroes)? Taking away all the snow (... Nothing to say for that)?

I assume you're referencing Mario & Sonic? Sorry, I don't play those games, so I don't know. Those sound like horrible plans though. "Let's take over the world by making it foggy! Muahahaha!"

Yeah, they don't work well together... Bowser can do much better than that, he's actually come within minutes of his ultimate goal (ruling the entire universe) before Mario was able to interfere.

Eggman... these plans aren't too out there for him, but you'd think he could pick a better magical artifact.

Yeah. On the topic of Bowser and Eggman, they also have completely different goals. Eggman wants to build a city, and Bowser wants to rule the universe. Someone's thinking big.
