You pretty much summed up what I thought 
Some other things that I disliked though:
- they showed peeta getting his foot bitten but they didn't show what happened to it.... aka the fake foot. I thought it was funny they did one but not the other, y'know?
- they didn't really show president snow's trademark enough... But I guess they can add that in later.
