Heh, felt like I just watched "rescuers down under", with Ginny beein' a more...*cough*...hardcore Bianca, tho H-hog fitted the Bernardo role perfectly.
ooh! now that I think about it, John did the seagull job flying them to Australia- ahahah I see what you did there.

also I noticed the south park-ish "I learned something today" conclusion.

Really enjoyed this episode, like Ginny im also quite enviromental sensible, and tho she didn't help Nature at all, she had good intentions, and isn't that what really counts?

Actually I didn't realize the rescuers down under paralex, funny now you mention it.
Tough N-hoff doesn't seem to be represented.
Drat, should have music from that soundtrack.

I like "I learned something today''. It instantly makes the following moral and lecture sound lame, which is good. Forcing morals into stories is lame and dumb if you have to loudly explain them.

I'm actually against mindlessly helping with good intentions.
Reminds me of a newspaper article I read about environmentalists invading a test laboratory to free some weasels, then letting them free.
The weasels ended up running into traffic and getting killed.
If you going to save some lab animals, fine, but then do it thorough and don't just throw em loose in the city with no training or help or opportunity to get used to their new situation.

In fact, in my youth I have been a..well, "Victim" of good intentional but useless help quite often. I was never really social (because I have no desire for it) so occasional students or friends "Help me" by taking me with them to the pub, then leave off to do their thing and leave me behind confused in the bar wondering how the hell I'm supposed to pass the time in a environment I'm not used to. What the hell AM I supposed to do in bars? Alcohol only works if you're in the mood of partying, if you're just confused and scared, alcohol only makes you dizzy, sleepy and more nervous.I can't talk because of the loud music, there's no room to dance. Arghh.

All the several misguided attempts to make me more social have accomplished is making me associate bars and being social with getting locked in a crowded loud room sitting around bored until I'm allowed to leave.

If you want to help an unsocial person to mingle in a pub, at least be the guide, explain things and help them on the way instead of assuming everyone immediately transforms into a party animal. It's like putting a demented elderly person in front of a movie editing program on a computer and assume they'll immediatly get into the groove.

yeah, know what you mean.
Can't say I had problems like those, I mean, I'm also not very good at meeting people, and was quite unsocial back then, tho no one forced me to go clubbin' or anything, I actually was the one who took the iniciative to try something new, and since I wasn't handcuffed
and trowed into the laud music and overly smell of cigarettes, I actually managed to have a good time.

But still, yeah, if people like you are invited to go out on nights like those, instead of goin' to places with sounds and seizuring lights that inflame the senses, its WAY better to take them to somewhere more confortable and safe, to at least have a briefing of what to do before going to places where communication is IMPOSSBLE.

Its amazing how I am relating this to your "freeing animals from labs to the roads" which was a good point by the way...

Well, that's life. All experiences and thoughts are interconnected with each other. It's crazy, but hey, today's a crazy day.
