I am still stuck for a possible plot though and a title. I was more or less thinking of Damon taking in a young Neko after his parents are killed/eaten

And what about Damon eats them one night then the Neko wakes and wonders where his parents are (How young?) and Damon doesn't have the heart to explain so he takes him in? or not, that works too

Well I was thinking the Neko would be around 6 since Damon eats anything over 10 years old. Damon does have a soft soft for kids so he would probably blame it on another Naga or it was another naga. not really sure
Maybe he goes into the forest to 'splore (explore) and when his parents come to look for him they get eaten. He gets lost and starts crying and that's when Damon finds him?
