Iran has ambitions of becoming a nuclear power, and Israel is vehemently against that, since currently they're the only nuclear power in the Middle East, which puts them in a very powerful position. :p

i think you're forgetting about the open threats Iran's president keeps sharing to the public about.. oh i dunno, 'wanting to erase Israel from the face of the planet'.. maybe?

Of course, everyone fears the nuclear war. If it be, Israel people won't survive . And Iran may have an alliance with other countries and become the strongest country in the Middle East.
line-melte's avatar
I think the fears about Iran attacking people with nukes are based far more upon paranoia than realism. They know Israel has around 200 nukes, and the USA has thousands, so they're well aware building one nuke and attacking someone with it will only get their entire country turned to radioactive wasteland.

and one bomb is Enough to destroy Israel....

What do you think, that Israel will "give" to a country that wants to dastroy her to hold a nuclear weapon?
I also dont think that Iran will actully use the weapon, but still, its must not allow to Iran to have a weapons of mass destruction.
line-melte's avatar
No, one bomb is not enough, unless you're terminally paranoid and exaggerating. A Cold War Russian 'small penis' bomb, yes, but realistically, no-one uses such large weapons anymore, and certainly not Iran, if they even have the tech to make a nuclear weapon.

Desire and actions are two different things. Iran knows that attacking Israel would be a stupid thing to do, and realistically out of the two Israel is far more likely to be the aggressor in this situation. Hell, they already asked the USA to give them some bunker-busting bombs so they could strike Iranian facilities.
kaka0002's avatar
It's obvious you have no idea about Israel.

most of Jews in israel (more than three and half million people) live in what is called gush Dan, gush dan is the center of Israel in every way. and gush dan is very small area And one atomic bomb there, will no doubt would destroy Israel.

I already said that, it does not matter that Iran will not use the bomb. The bottom line is that Israel simply can not give a state that wants to dastroy her to have a nuclear bomb.

being a threat and defending yourself are two very different things. iran needs something to keep israel from harrassing them and a nuke is big enough to keep them at a safe distance. now, i understand israel's need for self-preservation but does iran not have that right also?

do you think that for one second that iran has not considered that if they bombed israel, retribution will not follow? the bombs israel and the US that will carpet that state will literally annihilate it into ash. why would they want to destroy israel if they knew the outcome meant the same for them? wouldnt that be a tad stupid on their part?
kaka0002's avatar
but the funny thing that Israel has no problem with Iran has she iran.
Israel does not want to destroy Iran and the truth is she was on good terms with her, until the Muslims extremists took control there in 1979.

Iran does not need to defend itself with nuclear bomb, because no one wants to destroy her. In contrast to Israel ..
line-melte's avatar
No; one nuclear weapon strike in Gush Dan would destroy Gush Dan, but not the whole of Israel. Saying that is kind of insulting to the people populating the rest of Israel.

Israel shouldn't be enforcing it's will upon the entire rest of the Middle East. Doing so is tyranny.
