Grrrr! Everybody thinks it's a chicken! Could it be that I totally goofed when coming up with his design? No, impossible. It's everyone else who's wrong! 
i think its mostly the reason that 'superman' has such a large chest and a thick elongated neck much like a chicken(or rooster to be more precise)... i believe the cliche griffin type you see circulating around here is pretty much the kind with a lions mane and a long tail... i dunno though... i see it as a griffin
