DRAPES AND SHEETS? LOL. What do you sleep in!?

I buy them at thrift stores, silly! :'P People donate straight up un-used fabric too. Tablecloths provide stellar yardage too. Always under $5- waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than buying new fabric and the fabric stores- even with coupons, most times.

UHM YES THANK YOU. When I was 11 I would make really long pretty skirts out of round table cloths. This works perfectly.
ALSO, I tip my hat to you ma'am. This costume designing thing is extremely difficult. I mean, I've had experience but this is so hard.
Then again, I'm doing a tough character. I'm trying to put Panty from Panty and Stocking into a rather chaste outfit. Peach is so delicate so it works on her- but Panty's too damn... UGH

Haha of course! I really like to make outfits out of window treatments- as they already have the sweet looking gathers and stuff- makes for super quick skirt projects! Find such cool vintage fabric sometimes too!
Anyhow- yeaaa, costumes are a real stresser. Anywhere you can pinch pennies makes it all the more fun and less guilty XD Specially when costumes aren't in the budget. I hope you're able to find what you need and get your costume just how you want! <3
