Comment on Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings by WizardWannabe
You know what other character Queen Chrysalis weirdly reminds me of? I keep thinking of Mirage, from the Aladdin TV show.
Both of them are a dark charcoal gray color. (For some reason people keep saying Mirage is brown, but she's always looked charcoal gray to me.) Both of them have glowing green slit-pupiled eyes. Both of them have prominent fangs.
Both of them have disguised themselves as princesses. Mirage disguised herself as Princess Jasmine in one episode, and in another she infiltrated the royal palace in the guise of "The Sultana".
Both of them have creepy minions. Mirage's El Katib are formerly human children who she's transformed into monstrosities.
Biggest difference: Queen Chrysalis draws her power from love. Mirage declares that love is weak and ridicules it as nothing more than "a tingly feeling".
I feel an urge to write a crossover story now. Must... resist...
