UF has been there while apo, chaotica, Xaos, Frost, XenoDream, ChaosPro, Chaoscopia, FractalExplorer(FE) etc etc etc were not here yet and it continues to develop today. So many senior artists have contributed in this software over the decade. People like Janet Parke, Kerry Mitchell, Linda Allison and the list goes on. All of this and a lot more has made Ultra Fractal the most widely used and most efficient fractal processor without a doubt. Its interface is the most logical compared to any other fractal software I have come across in the last 8 years. So, despite the unimaginable potential in IFS or MandelBulb domain, the respective software are yet struggling to support a proper interface and help documentation. No offense intended. I am myself, a lot interested in these two.
UF is extremely organized and its every aspect is very very well documented and there are senior professionals every where to consult. All of plug-ins like add on formulas, mappings, algorithms etc are very well organized at the UF's own main site and updated weekly up to date. You dont have to surf gazillions of sites to down all that data.
Almost all of the work in my gallery is from UF. And I am gonna recommend that you must try UF first if you are into fractal art seriously. In fact, it is strange that you have not already.
Oops! Are you there???
