You may not know, my opinion right, with respect to the white background, if he were fading from the top down diagonally from right to left could give a different atmosphere, more like just an opinion said it is already wonderful work!

I'm glad you like the portrait! I agree with your suggestion, but it was a commission - I do, what they ask for. The commissioner didn't want any background.
