he's actually a pony version of my elder scrolls character who is psychologically messed up and very... deadly
the idea for putting dante in a pony world came out of me being bored one day and thinking, if i put my character in a pony world,would he be a nice guy?
so,instead of a blood-thirsty assassin,we have a mumbling nerd XD
the eyes themselves are an aesthetic symbol that makes dante an outcast in this society,that's why i put them like that
now,storywise, dante has the same eyes as luna's royal guards
in my fanon,the gates of tartarus is an underground area that contains a residential area for the species of ponies with such eyes,called tartarus ponies(they also have earth,pegasus and unicorns,the only difference is the eyes and the ears,dante lacks the tartarus ears because he's a halfbreed)
tartarus ponies are an secret race,they rarely go out of the surface,only the high-rank guards go out,but they have their face covered,surface ponies know about the existence of the gates, but they don't know anything other than that
luna and celestia are the only ones who do
celestia is against them because of their moral standards, luna sympathizes and wants to get them to surface(hence the guards)
as for the bat wings on luna's guards,it's a wing armor used to protect the pegasus soldier's wings during an attack
I have an idea for a fanfic where dante discovers his true origins,if i have time,i'll write it

would love him. She's designing a pony who's in love with one of Luna's Night Guard. 
My pony Sunspot is from the west. She's basically reached a point in her life where she feels empty and she's not sure what happened. Her love interest Fennel has more of a background but I'll have to just start writing their story finally

[link]dante is from cloudsdale,moved to ponyville to change his surroundings,his best friend and roommate,a unicorn called flame wielder(i'll make him as well) lived in the everfree forest with his parents who were studying magic and lived in the forest,he was homeschooled
