its embedded in the layers and my new olympus has its own watern=mark feature in it linked to olympus for dating and time of image etc etc,all very high tech but keep a disc of where and when and what reak=l time all our pics taken,it has worked three times in getting our pics taken down and remob=ved from other sites saying they were others works of art,so covered in all ways and come from a legal background so that always helps,and believe if not right password with olympus site all you get is a smiley face all over the piccy,so be warned art thieves technology is at last on the artists side,,x
p.s get a good photo prog adobe photoshop 5 elements or any corel prog and they all contain a prog to embed watermark as light or dark as u want it,cheap enough to pick up from ebay,and saves a lot of hassle and those immortal words "not to be used without artists consent or reproduced"are legal and binding so never forget to add that and to uncheck the large download box
