Oh just a little joke there. Back in the 80's a horrible movie called Space Mutiny came out which stole a ton of footage from Battlestar Galactica. They used this ship and called it The Southern Sun.

That sounds like what they did with the Battlestar- using footage of the Valley Forge from "Silent Running" as the argo ship in the Fleet.
