I'm not a big fan of Photoshop (and very far from an expert), I'm more familiar with fireworks that handles vectors much better. What are you own favourite programs ?

I use GIMP and some minor programs, which includes photo editor of windows office (could you believe that!!!). GIMP is quite a complicated app though, from the GIMP's forums I can see other ppl's works as well, and I learn to be humble from seeing the best of the best. It really takes time and much of learning to develop better knowledge about each program; even though the rewards are few but most of time they are quite satisfactory. Besides fractal art, I'm very interested in vector art as well, fireworks is just far too expensive, i guess i will give Inkscape a try sooner or later. BTW, I have visited your website, it's really impressive. I wonder when my passion for the works of Prous or Michel de Montaigne or Stendhal or Zola will be strong enough for me to start learning French (and everyone is talking about it's the most beautiful language in the universe).
