I don't want to shoot the elites, I want to PLAY AS the elites. Sadly, in the multiplayer, you don't even get the ripoffs! JUST. FREAKING. BLAND. SPARTANS. I'm sorry for my immature behavior, but this is just so disappointing, it makes me want to file a complaint to 343 Industries.
I don't know what the big deal is about not playing as elites in multiplayer. 343 said that the Halo 4 multiplayer will have its own story-line and it will be called infinity so putting elites in there won't make sense and also the elites you will fight in the campaign are different from the ones that helped you in Halo 3, these still believe that the prophets were right and also hate humans and didn't want an alliance with them. You didn't expect every single elite to follow the arbiter did you?
You have some good points, but I sure wouldn't want to follow the same tyrant who tried to commit genocide on my kind if I were an elite. I really don't get it.
That's right, I believe the same but they are also a race. For example I'am pretty sure that some humans didn't want to be friends with the elites. Look at them the same way.
Oh yeah, That's a really good point. And well made. Well if you're only allowed to play as spartans, is the EOD armor still there at least? (at least that one looked cool.)
Yeah is there and it looks awesome. I forgot to say something but it might be an SPOILER for you so watch out. I heard that the reason those elites and other covenant races are on Requiem is because they are looking for a living forerunner, which is a god to them and that forerunner is the Didact. But some elites are still fighting the brutes and others were trying to kill the arbiter. The EOD armor looks awesome, I like all the armors that I've seen so far, I don't know which one I will use. They look so epic IMO XD
I'm a bit happier, but I still lhave my hopes that the elites will return one day. Who knows? Maybe the UNSC will allow the good elites to come train with them at some point?

Wait, how do you know that you can't play as elites in multiplayer? They've only revealed two variants of slayer. No doubt Halo 4 will have the same amount, if not more, of multiplayer games such as Invasion, Living Dead and Snipers.
I've kept up with the news. You can forget about anything other than Spartans in Multiplayer.
Ah well, if thats all that is left out of multiplayer, I consider it a job well done.
I liked the elites. I consider this big change to be a big "Fuck you" to all the other people who liked the elites.

You know what? It'd be okay if the UNSC started making Spartans again and they invited the Elites to train with them some time, if they really wanted to put a story behind Multiplayer. Besides, the whole "humans are good and every other sentient being in Space is hitler" thing is overused. Ever seen one episode of Futurama where the Humans were the evil invading army? That just shows that humans can be alien invaders too. Besides, wasn't it the ELITES who helped the humans defeat The Covenant and The Flood?
I suppose that's what DLC is for.
