This... Is just -stunning-. I have been looking everywhere for a dress like this for my wedding. My husband and I got married four years ago, in a very small ceremony which none of our families could attend. Now that my husband has been discharged from the Marine Corps for wounds gained in duty, we've been planning to have another wedding/"vow renewal" maybe next year, on our fifth anniversary for all of our families to attend. I've always wanted a dress that was traditional 1920's/1930's in style, but it has proven to be nearly impossible to find one to my liking or in good enough shape to wear.

Do you do dresses like this regularly? Are you able to do commissions for dresses of this type (the one above)? How long does it usually take you to complete a dress such as this?

Thank you so much for the kind words, hun and congratulations on almost five years! Sorry to hear about the wounds your husband sustained but at least now you have the opportunity to settle down a bit. (:

I do sometimes accept commission work for clothing but currently I am both booked up and not accepting anymore at least until after my September show. I can accept work for a piece in this style though I never repeat myself as I use vintage fabrics and scraps to create almost everything I do. This particular piece took about five days to complete. With commission work though, you have to take into consideration the time it takes to order materials and for them to come in and that can take a few weeks.

I will be honest with you, after my September show I may not be opening for clothing commissions again as it's something I just do for fun and I'm getting too busy with my career as an artist to have room for clothing commission work. If you're watching me, I will post in my journal when and if a slot opens for clothing and you're welcome to contact me about it then.

Hope that helps and thank you for the interest. (:
