I was crying my eyes out! All I kept saying was Toph would be proud of her daughter! I also cried knowing that Tophs Legacy was gone, being her bending bloodline. If Lin can't get her powers back any child she might have may or may not have powers.
Actually...if you remember...Yakone had his son Tarrlok a few years after he lost his bending and yet junior could still bloodbend like his daddy.
Tarrlok must have been born before Yakone was put away. Cause I really doubt they allow conjugal visits in this world.
Well think about it...Tarrlok is 37 years old in the series, and born in 133 ASC (After Sozin's Comet) And Yakone had his bending taken away by Aang in 128 ASC, about 5 years after the blood bender lost his powers. So it had to be the genes that did it for Tarrlok, not Yakone being a blood bender while conceiving him. You can see for yourself here [link] and [link] and compare the dates from when Tarrlok was born and when Aang took Yakone's bending. Thus conjugal visits have to be allowed or he escaped for Tarrlok to exist.
It's just so werid to me. I mean really who would sleep with him and not get dirty looks? It's just eww.
