You talk like depression is mind control and these people have no control over their actions when they do. It's still their body, and THEIR mind.

Sometimes when people kill themselves it's honestly not even worth sacrificing their lives over it.

Wait, sorry, I thought you were the OP. I apologise for the last part of my previous comment, as you haven't actually said anything hurtful, I just disagree with you :meow:

Depression is a mind-altering disease, so no, they don't have complete control over their actions or feelings. Mental illness poisons everything you do and prevents you from living your life to same extent that mentally healthy people can. They have a voice in their head constantly telling them that they're useless, worthless, pathetic, will never amount to anything, should just die. They do not simply go, "Drat, I got a bad grade. I'm gonna kill myself." Depression is a serious and complex illness, and as I said in my original comment, you should educate yourself more about it before saying such hurtful things.

Considering I'm only 14 years old, I'm not going to study everything.

Plus, I already study the things I am interested in. I don't feel the need to if I at least think I already understand it anyway.

But because I'm not that old, my view on things is not always going to be 100% perfect.
