Superb shot! I really love the angle, it seems to give a perfect view of everything the bird has to offer. I also really love how the flights are spread like fingers, it makes the bird seem more human. The markings are really lovely, the full range of browns and the yellow around the eyes. I love how the light is shining off its back and wings in this, very impressive. The detail is so remarkable that I can clearly see the texture of its belly, the messiness of the tail and the long, swooping eyelashes. The focused look on the face of the bird and the action in the shot make the whole thing seem quite exciting.
