i love it how you mix different levels of detail. the splashing water looks amazing and i can see how you used a rough brush to make it with a few well placed strokes. have you thought about adding another layer of bright reflections to the water? it would increase the drama, i think, and it seems physically possible (from the shadows i would judge that the water should be hit by direct light).
