People bring this point up and they're right, about why it took them so long to get an on-panel kiss. Opposite to other couples where the kiss is the beginning after a long period of sexual tension, these two were introduced as a thing so that cheap plot device wasn't needed.
Besides, they were probably sexing it up before the series even started, so.

:D YEY  ^3^

But I'm glad they did that. They're not adults looking for someone after countless partners. They're teenagers who fell in love, there wouldn't be a whole box full of sexual tension in there.
PSH hells yeah ;D

I think there WAS sexual tension, at least until they somehow found out they were both gay and into each other. But again, they were introduced as a couple, so we were "spared" that.
Though I'm DYING to know how that happened.

;D

Well yeah there was sexual tension for the whole first volume BUT THEY WERE KINDA BUSY! Then at the end it was all "oh Ted's ma boyfriend. yup. this is a thing now."

I wouldn't call it sexual tension, per-se, since they were already together. The plan wasn't to out them until the 12th issue, but they were so freaking blunt about it, it's easier missing their on-panel hugs than to miss the flirts that went on in the first six issues o_O then in the 7th they broke and just openly named them as boyfriends when the group was talking about what to do after the Kang thing.
