It can be, but we mainly use it for our night vision goggles. One of our grunts used it to mount his GoPro during the day.
GoPro is a gps device? Or is it something similar to an Ipod?
It's a small video camera that some of the guys bought. Pretty nifty, but I couldn't justify getting one with my own money.
