While it may not seem like much, the "Shadow Sabre"-class Assault Fighter is a force to be reckoned with. Its stealth systems make it hard to detect on radar, and its handling and turning power make it almost impossible to target in a dogfight. This fighter was designed to counter Changeling fighters like the "Spyder"-class Interceptor and the "Yellowjaket"-class Air Superiority Fighter, and also serve as a reconnaissance aircraft and night-raid bomber, being capable of delivering large nonnuclear payloads on enemy targets and atmospheric exit and reentry.
