That one important person was probably Byakuya ;_; I'm not convinced about Kira yet, plus nobody did care about the First Lieutenant... Eh, but looks like Bya-bo really is dead at this point - I'm not looking at the fountains of blood, but at the blank eyes, the final apologies, the ”fallen cherry blossom” line... Yup, I think we can pretty much say he's dead. Much as I mourn his passing ;_; RIP.

Orihime has the ability to revive people and Ulquiorra seems to feel like he's going to come back. Mass-revive seems pretty plausible and trollish enough at this point = =

Eh, I wish... I highly doubt that Ulquiorra's coming back; it'd ruim the poignancy of his death (and I love him!). But yes, with KuboTroll anything could happen... He'd kill off EVERYONE for the lulz and somehow bring them all back to life (because who knows? Hitsugaya, Rukia, Renji and co don't look too good to me as of now...)

But yeah, Eji-sai (or juu-sai) is just awesome. I loved how the vice-captain of the first division is actually properly explained to us, like in flashbacks and how they talk about him. It's rather unique.
I've read a lot of theories on why they think Ulquiorra's coming back, and they seem rather plausible, but that death scene (and the entire character /squee) was just amazing and it would ruin that single moment if they did revive him. I just don't really see how the shinigami are going to win this war without help from the arrancars, that's all.
