It looks cool & hilarious at the same time. For a tracked hovercraft concept (if I can call this such) this one contains so many details that were drawn only for the sake of overall looks.

it doesn't use tracks, it may need a prepared surface but it really does not need it as it operates much like the hover ships from Matrix:D and yes has details to make it looks awesome!:D

I thought it would need track to hold it on course and be a part of the linear motor since I see it has neither propulsion nor thrusters.

Hover pads, like the ones that were used in "The Matrix":D 6 primary ones and 8 secondary for steering:D originally we were talking about a track it would need but the shear size my client was talking about... I couldn't see it turning even a mild corner due to the shear size of it and the fact that current/conventional mag-lev train tech and expected tech just could not allow for the size and length of this units specs... I went for a trackless unit.

How does it turn then or is it a one way train? And what makes it also move beside just hovering?

the hover pads provide repulsion from the ground surface, tilting the pads in a direction gives it movement as the repulsion is now down and away to move it forwards.... you should just watch Matrix again is you don't understand the fact that I keep saying.. "its like "the Matrix" hover ships...

From what you described it reminds me Cushioncraft's CC2 or in case of row of round cushions - Bertin's Terraplane BC4 ([link]). It was not bad for little experimental hovercrafts but for something like on your drawing it's a pure exaggeration. Same as if you would draw A380 with 10 decks & 1 km wingspan just because it would "look cool". Besides, one of the reasons why an air cushion train was a pointless idea is because of increased wear of skirts due to high speed.

Ok dude... Your starting to annoy me.. It is Not an AIR CUSHION vehicle... DUDE... have you SEEN "THE MATRIX"?... [link] <-- that is an air cushion vehicle... this train is not aircushion.. those giant disks are like the ones used on the movie "The Matrix" as hover pads, they are a sort of electro magnet...
how many times have i Mention this connection to "The Matrix"? 3, three times!
The whole front of the train is the reactor to power those things... Do i need to explain this AGAIN?
